NIGCOMSAT Ltd has recently opened 5 Community Tele-centers in Lagos, Ibadan, Ilorin, Benin and Okene.
The objective of these centers is to provide user support for a majority of the population that could otherwise not afford such facilities.

Services provided at the center will be predominantly Wireless Internet Access with supporting infrastructure such as phones, scanner, printer and unique Hotspots within a radius of 1KM.
 The Federal Government of Nigeria initiated the NigComSat-1 project as a national priority project and a critical ICT infrastructure mandated the company to utilize NigComsat-1.
The Company's immediate focus to stimulate and generate potential downstream services, business applications, delivery of information as well as increasing the nation's digital opportunity index (DOI) and digital access index (DAI) thus enhancing the much needed growth of industrial and commercial sectors of the economy.
This will also go a long way to reduce the cost of making phone calls within and outside the country thus bringing the much needed growth of the industrial and commercial sectors of the economy.
